AFEW in Russia announces open contest among local NGOs
AIDS Foundation East-West is pleased to announce an open contest for the implementation of advocacy events dedicated to strengthening the role of people affected by HIV. The goal of this grant project is to support the initiatives of local NGOs that work in the field of HIV. At the end of the open contest AFEW will select five NGOs to implement the advocacy project of their choice.
The contest is run in the framework of "Increasing access to e-learning in the response to HIV / AIDS in the Russian Federation" project.

Tender Competition on Tolerance Assessment
AIDS Foundation East-West announced a tender competition on assessment of tolerance of people living with HIV by prisoners. The assessment will be used to evaluate the work of AFEW in the framework of the Globus project.

Seminar for prison psychologists held in Almaty

Fifteen staff psychologists of Kazakhstan’s penal system and representatives of NGOs working with young prisoners participated in a seminar on effective work with prisoners. The seminar was held in Almaty on 7-8 February in the framework of “Zhastar Plus” project – client management for young prisoners in Almaty and Almaty region. The project is financed by ViiV Healthcare.
