AFEW Takes a Leading Position in List of Top Medical Charities

Yesterday, the Dutch newspaper ‘Trouw’ published a list of the 50 most important medical charities in which AIDS Foundation East-West (AFEW) was placed in fourth place. The ranking is based on a survey conducted by the Central Information Point Charities (CIGD) and the Erasmus Center for Strategic Philanthropy (ECSP). Altogether, five hundred charities working in the field of healthcare were considered for inclusion in the list based on criteria such as organisational structure, transparency and project management.
