WHO/GPA counselling training workshops
AFRO: Between Sept 1987 and Nov 1989 five inter-country workshops were conducted
in the following venues: Nairobi, Guinea Bissau, Pointe Noire (Congo), Sierra
Leone and Burkina Faso. They were attended by a total of 134 participants from
33 countries.
AMRO: In Martiniques 9-13 Oct 1989, a counselling workshop was conducted for
48 participants from Guadeloupe, Guyane, Haiti and Martinique.
EMRO: Intercountry counselling workshops were conducted for a total of 57 participants
in the following places: Cairo for 10 countries (June 1989), Kuwiat for 11 countires
(Dec 1989) and Beirut for 10 countries (April 1995).
EURO: Between Jan 1989 and Mar 1990 inter-country workshops were conducted
in the following venues: Malta, Madrid, Ireland and Budapest. They were attended
by a total of 156 participants from 25 countries.
SEARO: Intercountry counselling workshops were conducted for a total of 47
participants in the following places: Bombay, India for 7 countries (Nov 1989),
Haryana, India for 9 countries (Mar 1993).
WPRO: Intercountry counselling workshops were conducted for a total of 85 participants
in the following places: Singapore for 23 countries (Jun-July 1988), Tokyo for
9 countries (Aug 1988), Fiji for 17 countires (Oct-Nov 1989).
